Today my gluten-free lavender shortbread with homemade orange curd recipe features in The Guardian and is my modern twist on the classic Jammie Dodger.
Dale Berning Sawa of The Guardian described it as “ an elegant take on the Jammie Dodger. Punching out the holes seemed to me a step too far. In fact, I didn’t even bother with the sandwiching: I was perfectly happy just to dunk the biscuits in the curd."

Makes: 12 Biscuits (2" / 5cm diameter)
These shortbread biscuits are my twist on the traditional Jammie Dodger and make a perfect little sweet treat to enjoy whatever the occasion. Last weekend they featured in The Guardian, Cook supplement which you can read about here.

Lemon and Lavender Cakes (GF)
I have been looking forwards to making these elegant gluten-free individual cakes for a long time and envisaged the end result from the outset. The colour and style of the cakes was inspired by Tiffany and Co. meets Wedgwood and would make a lovely little cake to make for your Mum on Mother’s day.
